ProductIs ProvSeal only for AI-generated content?
No. ProvSeal signs your entire output: photos, retouched visuals, PDF documents and AI-generated content. The origin of every piece of content is declared, AI or not.
ProductWhat is the difference between ProvSeal Verify and ProvSeal Enterprise?
Verify is a free extension for verifying files. Enterprise is for signing on behalf of your organization, on your infrastructure, with Desktop and the Console.
ProductWhich formats are supported?
Signing: JPEG, PNG and PDF. Verification: JPEG, PNG, PDF, MP4, MOV and WebM.
PrivacyDo my files go through your servers?
No. They are processed on your workstations or in your browser. The Console only receives governance metadata.
PrivacyDo my private keys leave my infrastructure?
No. They stay on your organization’s workstation, token, smart card or hardware module.
PrivacyDoes ProvSeal collect my media?
No. ProvSeal does not collect, store, sell or share your media.
TrustWhat does “signed, not recognised” mean?
The signature is valid, but the certificate chain does not lead back to the C2PA trust list. This is the case with a test certificate.
TrustHow do I get Trusted status?
With a certificate issued by an authority recognized by the C2PA trust list. We help you choose one during the pilot.
TrustIs an image without Content Credentials fake?
No. Most content does not carry them yet. Their absence says nothing about authenticity.
TrustDoes ProvSeal detect AI-generated images?
No. ProvSeal declares and verifies provenance. It is not an AI or fake detector.
PilotWhat does the pilot program include?
For 30 days, we install ProvSeal Enterprise with you, configure your signing policy and support you through your first batches.
PilotHow much does ProvSeal Enterprise cost?
There is no public price yet: the offer is being built with the pilot organizations. There will be no per-signature billing.

macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) in beta. Windows and Linux are planned.
AI ActIs ProvSeal enough to comply with the AI Act?
ProvSeal provides the technical means to mark your content according to C2PA. Your exact obligations depend on your role: have them validated by your legal counsel.

Article 50 has applied since 2 August 2026, with a grace period until 2 December 2026 for generative AI systems already on the market.
