It complements it. ProvSeal reads and verifies declared provenance; it does not replace editorial investigation or fact-checking.

Can it be integrated with our CMS or DAM?

Yes, through a local integration, with nothing sent to the cloud. This is scoped during the pilot.

What happens if a social network strips the metadata?

The image shows up with no information, not as tampered with. IMATAG’s invisible watermark makes it possible to trace its origin in that case.
